We are striving to raise hardy and healthy goats, with little to no maintenance. We keep out a free choice mineral buffet with all the essential minerals goats need. Our goats are 100% free ranged, unless penned for temporary separation and/or health reasons. We feed alfalfa before, and during gestation to ensure our nannies have an ample supply of protein as well as plenty of fresh hay, tree branches when available, and in the winter months, bulk goat feed, and an occasional treat from the house (fresh veggies). We do not worm on a regular basis, but only based on their FAMACHA score and/or fecal samples. Our herd primarily consist of Kiko and Kiko cross goats, as well as a few other breeds. Our goal is to breed large, fleshy, and most importantly, healthy goats, with some added color for fun.
